Refund & Cancellation Policy
Template notice: This is a standard UK B2B services starting template. Please have it reviewed by a qualified adviser. As Gammatec primarily serves business clients, the consumer-specific cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 generally does not apply, but please confirm if you ever sell to consumers.
1. Scope
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for engagements with Gammatec. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and any specific statement of work or proposal we have agreed with you.
2. Project engagements
Project engagements are typically billed in stages against deliverables or milestones agreed in writing. If you cancel a project before completion:
- You will be charged for all work performed up to the date of cancellation, plus any committed third-party costs we have incurred on your behalf.
- Amounts already invoiced for completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Any deposit paid is non-refundable except where work has not yet started.
3. Retainer engagements
Retainer engagements are billed in advance for an agreed monthly volume of hours. To cancel a retainer, please give us reasonable written notice in line with the notice period set out in your engagement. The retainer fee for the notice period remains payable. Unused hours within a billing period do not roll over and are not refundable.
4. Hourly engagements
Hourly engagements may be paused or cancelled at any time on reasonable notice. You will be charged for work performed up to the date of cancellation.
5. How to cancel
To cancel an engagement, please send written notice (email is fine) to info@gammatec.xyz, including your company name, the engagement reference, and the proposed cancellation date.
6. Refunds
Where a refund is due under this policy, we will issue it promptly after agreeing the cancellation, using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
7. Errors and disputes
If you believe an invoice is incorrect, please tell us within 14 days of the invoice date so we can investigate. We will work with you in good faith to resolve any disagreement quickly.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. If you believe we have not delivered services with reasonable skill and care, please contact us so we can put it right.
